Do you know someone suffering from Cancer? I have had to fight this battle more than once with family and friends. Those I’ve known to have suffered this horrible disease always tell me the same thing. The treatment is worse than the Cancer itself. There is something they can try today that only a few years ago could have landed them in jail. I’m talking about medical marijuana. While it is still illegal in many states Colorado for example has not only legalized it but has actually been caught in a tourist boom. Thousands of people are jumping on the band wagon looking to test this so called miracle drug for themselves. These medical marijuana tours have given many the opportunities to try a drug that has few side effects, none of which are long term. The medical marijuana tours in Colorado would allow those suffering the ability to legally try a treatment option they may not have access to in their home town. Cancer patients who have tried using marijuana as a form of treatment have found in many studies that not only have the size of their tumors often decreased but their symptoms are being suppressed in a way most modern medications are unable to. While chemotherapy is still required as a part of treatment many studies have shown that the nausea and vomiting caused by this drug is nearly completely suppressed while the patient is taking a medicinal marijuana product. This includes neuropathic pain which is caused by damaged nerves. My grandmother had a hard time eating in the later stages of her leukemia, I wish that marijuana had been legal in Ohio as many studies have shown that marijuana is a great treatment option for those who find it hard to eat or keep down their meals. Studies of the effects of marijuana extracts in patients have reported a need for less pain medication which helps reduce the possibility of a chemical dependency on the painkillers often used in a cancer treatment. The medical marijuana tours in Colorado would allow those suffering the ability to legally try a treatment option they may not have access to in their home town. The medicinal uses of marijuana have only been studied for a short time due to a government ban on the study of schedule 1 substances; this will hopefully be overturned in the near future. A schedule 1 substance claims no medicinal value; this however is something Colorado is proving incorrect on a daily basis. We only have this one life; a Cancer diagnosis can take the joy out of many things in life. I’ve seen for myself that it does the most damage when the patient gives up, when they can’t take the pain anymore. I strongly feel that this is the answer and these medical marijuana tours are your ticket to see just what it can do for you. So what are you waiting for? Take a trip down to Colorado and see for yourself the real medicinal power that marijuana has. Many of the medical marijuana tours include a tour of the grow ops themselves as well as classes on how to make edibles which can be a life saver for those who wish to try this drug but are unable to smoke due to their medical conditions. What do you have to lose, give it a try and watch your pain, nausea, and many other symptoms melt away and make this debilitating disease a little more livable.

Colorado Just Became The First State In History To Collect More Taxes From Marijuana Than Alcohol10/3/2015 No state has ever generated more tax revenue from marijuana than alcohol—until now.
The Colorado Department of Revenue, according to recently released figures, just brought in $70 million in taxes relating to marijuana, compared to less than $42 million for alcohol taxes, over the course of a year. This Wednesday, Colorado is declaring a marijuana tax holiday, meaning that for a single day, taxes on marijuana items will be suspended. If you do the division, the price tag comes to almost exactly $60 dollars per plant destroyed. The number appears even more startling when considering the average nationwide per-plant-destruction cost is $4.20, the Washington Post reported Thursday. Much of this money goes towards funding helicopters that scout out marijuana farms from the sky, as well as having officers on foot uproot the plants that are spotted. Overtime pay alone cost taxpayers about $275,000 last year. But then there are a select few who have done so while also admitting to using marijuana either currently or at a certain point in life. Fortune recently presented a list of current and former CEOs from notable companies who have admitted to smoking pot. CEOs who-admit-to-smoking-pot/ |
